WIWUIMM – Clarins Masque Multi-Régénérant
“The human face is, after all, nothing more nor less than a mask.”
I tried this mask 4 times before this review so I could have a clear idea. I’m not a beauty expert so, as everything in here, I’m just sharing my experience.
The packaging is pretty cool, the product has a fabulous aroma and a beautiful lavender color. Is recommended on the instructions to use some acupressure techniques to enhance the relaxing effect (they are very easy to replicate). I used the product and here are my impressions.
Clarins recommends to apply the mask on clean skin on your face and neck, keep it on for 10 min and when the time is done remove with a tissue or tonic.
The first try I decided that I would follow all the instructions provided in the package, including massage and acupressure (good girl path).
So I went for “the home spa” experience. I lighted some candles, put some music on, cleaned my skin well and used some vapor diffuser before apply. I smoothed on the mask, that formed a sort of very fragrant patina. After waiting for the timer and made the recommended massage I removed it with a cotton ball soaked in tonic (another brand). First impression: bright and moisturized skin.
For the successive occasion I chose the “desperate housewife” version,so mask on, waited 10 mins, makeup and off to dinner. Excellent result.
On subsequent applications I alternated the “home spa” and the “desperate housewife” routine.
Fact: I am not a connoisseur (told you so), and I have to admit that genetics has been generous with me so let’s go straight to the point: The mask gives the face elasticity and I also noticed that my dark circles were attenuated. The product is very easy to apply, and the experience is very pleasant. Just a note: for girls with combination skin like me (oily skin in some areas of your face and dry skin in other areas) I think it’s better to remove the product with a tonic (I do not know if they produce a matching product but I will investigate). For those with oily skin could be better to remove with a kleenex.
